Overview & Mission

We Offer You a Helping Hand

Life is filled with challenges. Sometimes they are difficult to overcome on our own. Jewish Family Service, established in 1985, has a rich tradition of providing assistance to those in need so they can overcome their challenges. As the human service arm of the Jewish community, we are guided by the value of tikkun olam, repairing the world. Our services are available to people from all religious backgrounds, old and young, urban and rural. Our programs help people in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, Ft. Sumner, and Zuni Pueblo.

We endeavor to achieve our vision:

Jewish Family Service of New Mexico (JFSNM) will become the premier nonprofit organization for promoting Aging in Place and meeting the social service needs of Jewish and non-Jewish elderly in New Mexico. JFSNM will make significant contributions to meeting the social service needs of Jewish and non-Jewish families in New Mexico.

By staying true to our mission:

Guided by Jewish values, we offer targeted social services that help preserve and improve the quality of life for New Mexicans.

JFS in Action – Pursuing our Mission
