OVERVIEW & BENEFITS - BITTNER LOAN FUND
The Beatrice Bittner Memorial Loan Fund, created in memory of the first President of the JFS Board of Directors, seeks to assist Jewish people in financial need by granting personal loans for which no interest is charged. Information regarding the loan and the applicant will be treated with respect and confidentiality.
SERVICES
The Bittner Loan Fund provides interest-free loans for which repayment is required. The funds available for loan at the time of application and the policies established by the fund's overseers will determine the amount available to any qualified individual requesting a loan.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Application requirements: Applicants must submit a loan application which includes the applicant's current circumstances, the purpose of the loan, and the amount requested. The loan must be secured by a co-signer whose information is required as part of the application. Applicants must also participate in a personal interview.
