OVERVIEW & BENEFITS - HOUSEKEEPING COMPANION

Jewish Family Service’s (JFS) Companion program provides housekeeping and companionship services to individuals age 60 and over who are experiencing difficulty at home. A Fee-for-Service program is available to anyone at an hourly rate with a two hour minimum per visit. We also provide service on a sliding-fee scale available through program grants for clients of the JFS Case Management program. Under the Companion Care sliding fee scale, JFS will provide a Companion for a maximum of two (2) hours of service per visit not to exceed two (2) visits per month. Additional hours with no maximum amount can be provided at the regular hourly rate. Recipients will determine how to use the hours and will schedule the time with the Program Manager.
